Your experiences matter, and you don’t have to carry them in silence.
Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, dealing with health concerns, or trying to hold everything together, you don’t have to do it on your own. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to be “ready” or have everything figured out.
I work with emerging adults and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, relationship stress, and the emotional weight that comes with growing into yourself. My approach draws from ACT, CBT, DBT, somatic practices (mind–body and mind–gut work), and feminist psychology. Sometimes that looks like building skills; other times, it means slowing down, listening to the body, and creating space for the parts of you that need attention. Our work is grounded in partnership: your lived experience guides the process, and I support you with evidence-based tools, curiosity, and steady presence.
Women’s Health
I am passionate about supporting clients through the complexities of women’s health—PCOS, endometriosis, menstrual and hormonal concerns, fertility and reproductive choices, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, birth trauma, autoimmune issues, and chronic pain or illness. These experiences are often minimized in medical settings; therapy offers a place where your symptoms, emotions, and questions are met with compassion and advocacy. As a certified Empowered Relief® Instructor (Stanford University), I provide evidence-based tools to help reduce pain and improve quality of life.
Athletes
As a former ballerina, I understand the unique pressures athletes and performers face—injuries, body expectations, perfectionism, burnout, and transitions in or out of a sport. I help clients reconnect with their bodies, strengthen internal resilience, and build a healthier relationship with movement and performance.
Healthcare workers
Healthcare providers often carry emotional weight that goes unseen. Burnout can leave you feeling drained, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Therapy offers a place to process what you’ve been holding, regain clarity, and reconnect with meaning (and without judgment).
somatic therapy
I integrate somatic (mind–body) work when emotional stress shows up physically—chronic pain, GI symptoms, hormonal shifts, or persistent tension. Somatic therapy helps you approach discomfort gently and without overwhelm. I often use tools such as vagal nerve stimulation, pendulation (moving between areas of discomfort and ease), and titration (mindful awareness in small, manageable doses). These practices help calm the nervous system, reduce hypervigilance, support pain management, and help you feel safer and more at home in your body.
Experience
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University and have significant clinical experience in hospital settings, including Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Pain Clinics, and Labor and Delivery Units. My goal is to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and empowerment, as you take on life with confidence, resilience, and self-advocacy.
Licensure
I am a postdoctoral resident at Balanced Awakening. I have several years of clinical experience, yet require additional supervised practice before being eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois. I am supervised by Dr. Caitlin Stumpner and Dr. Hannah Yang outside of appointment times.

Empowering Women to Advocate for Their Well-Being
This message encourages women to stand up for their health and be heard. It’s about reclaiming your voice in medical spaces, advocating for compassionate and thorough care, and believing that you deserve to feel well, supported, and whole—no matter what challenges you face.
Reclaiming Your Life Beyond Pain
This message offers hope for those living with chronic pain or medical conditions. It’s about learning to live with pain rather than being defined by it—finding balance, acceptance, and the power to reclaim joy, agency, and a meaningful life despite challenges.
Understanding the Mind-Body Connection in Healing
This reflection explores how past trauma can manifest through the body, sometimes years later, as physical or autoimmune symptoms. It’s a reminder that emotional experiences and physical health are deeply connected—and that healing involves nurturing both the mind and body with compassion.
