Is life feeling heavy, complicated, or just… a lot?

You might already have insight into your patterns. You’ve reflected, done the work, and understand parts of your story - but something still feels stuck. Like you’re ready for a shift, but not quite sure how to get there.

That’s where we begin.

I work with adults and couples who are ready to move beyond just understanding themselves and start feeling real, lasting change. My style is direct, assertive, and action-oriented; I won’t just sit back and process with you. I’ll help you name what’s no longer serving you, challenge the patterns keeping you stuck, and take clear, intentional steps toward meaningful change.

I blend Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with expressive arts and somatic, body-based practices (breathwork, mindfulness, and movement) to help you regulate emotions, reconnect with your body, and move through life with more clarity and steadiness.

Understanding your experiences is important—but real change also happens when your body is able to release what it’s been holding. When emotions remain stored, they can show up as anxiety, tension, or patterns that feel hard to break. This work helps create space for those emotions to move, allowing you to feel more grounded, clear, and at ease.

Somatic interventions & dance/movement therapy

As a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist*, I integrate movement, body awareness, and creative expression into sessions for clients who struggle to fully express their experiences through words alone. Because trauma and emotion often live in the body, movement can create powerful pathways for grounding, regulation, and insight. Through gentle somatic practices, guided movement, breathwork, and expressive arts, you can access and process parts of your story that feel harder to articulate verbally. This work supports deeper self-awareness, emotional clarity, and meaningful healing across trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, and major life transitions.

I also recently accepted the position of President of the IL Chapter of the American Dance Therapy Association, where I will continue to advance my work grounded in a deep love for movement, culture, and community healing.

*The American Dance Therapy Association defines Dance/Movement Therapy as: “the psychotherapeutic use of dance, movement, body awareness, and embodied communication to foster healing and well-being for all individuals, families and communities (www.adta.org)

Imago Relationship Therapy

As an Imago Therapist in training, I facilitate the Imago Dialogue for couples for the co-creation of intentional relationships that heal.
