Every stage of life brings new experiences that shape who we are. While growth can be exciting, it can also feel overwhelming, uncertain, or lonely at times. Whether you're seeking support for your child, navigating the ups and downs of adolescence, or trying to find your footing as a young adult, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults as they learn more about themselves and navigate life's transitions. You may be feeling weighed down by anxiety or stress, struggling with self-esteem, finding it difficult to manage big emotions, adjusting to a life transition, grieving a loss, or trying to better understand who you are and how you relate to others. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for exactly who you are.
My goal is to support your growth while helping you build a deeper understanding of yourself. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a client-centered approach to help you navigate anxiety and depression, strengthen self-compassion, regulate emotions, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others. Together, we'll build on the strengths you already have while developing new tools and perspectives that make everyday life feel more manageable. I believe therapy isn't about having all the answers. It's about creating space to explore who you are, what matters to you, and how you want to move forward.
I welcome people from all walks of life and am proud to provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Whoever you are, I'm excited to meet you and support you throughout your journey.
Experience
My experience in both school-based and private practice settings has given me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and young adults from many different backgrounds and life experiences. Supporting young people as they discover who they are, learn to trust themselves, and better understand their thoughts and emotions is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from DePaul University and my master's degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School. Although I chose to pursue clinical therapy, my background in forensic psychology has deepened my understanding of people who have felt misunderstood, overlooked, or unheard. My hope is to create a compassionate, supportive space where you can feel safe being yourself while we work together toward the life you want to build.
