The demands and expectations of life can leave us feeling depleted and overwhelmed emotionally, physically and mentally. I believe that most individuals are doing their very best, but life can be hard and stressful, and we can all benefit from new ways of coping with challenges and living a healthier and happier life. My view of therapy is that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to listen, support, and empower you through those obstacles that are interfering from reaching your desired goals and needs. Through openness and non-judgmental exploring, together we can create a safe space for you to share your struggles and explore where you want to grow.

Pregnancy & Moms

My passion lies in supporting women through various stages in their life, such as relationship struggles, career and life transitions, finding one’s new identity, and other aspects of a woman’s life. I am a certified Perinatal Maternal Health provider and incredibly passionate about working with women who struggle with pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood, which can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, disconnected from oneself or your relationships, a sense of shame, inadequacy, and self-esteem issues. I use a relational and client-centered approach, while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

Experience

I have been fortunate to work with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds in various settings including residential treatment facility, community mental health, private practice, college counseling center, and detention center. I have been trained using evidence based and mind-body approaches for various issues.
