If you’re someone who feels like you’re constantly holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling underneath it all, you’re not alone. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside, but internally they’re dealing with anxiety, overthinking, emotional burnout, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from themselves and their needs. Some are navigating ADHD, relationship struggles, trauma, grief, chronic illness, body image concerns, or major life transitions. Others simply know they’re exhausted from living in survival mode for so long.
Many of the people I work with are deeply compassionate, self-aware, and emotionally attuned to others, yet struggle to offer that same care to themselves. They’ve often spent years prioritizing everyone else’s needs, over-functioning in relationships, or trying to meet impossible expectations while quietly carrying anxiety, shame, or overwhelm underneath the surface.
You don’t need to have the “right words” or a perfect starting point to begin therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are - without pressure, judgment, or the expectation to have everything figured out already.
I work with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, trauma, attachment wounds, low self-esteem, body image concerns, caregiver burnout, grief, chronic illness, and identity exploration. Therapy becomes an opportunity to slow down, better understand yourself, and begin creating change that feels supportive, realistic, and sustainable.
Grief & loss
Grief doesn’t only come from losing a loved one. It can also show up through breakups, chronic illness, identity shifts, burnout, or realizing life hasn’t unfolded the way you thought it would. However grief shows up for you, your experience is valid. In our work together, there’s no pressure to “move on” or make sense of everything right away. Instead, therapy becomes a space where your grief can be acknowledged honestly and compassionately while helping you reconnect with yourself in the midst of change. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting - it means learning how to carry your story with more support and self-compassion.
Trauma, Relational Trauma & Sexual Abuse/Assault Recovery
Past relationships and painful experiences can shape the way you see yourself, navigate relationships, and move through the world. You may struggle with people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, hyper-independence, difficulty trusting others, or feeling constantly on edge. For some, these patterns are connected to relational trauma, childhood experiences, sexual abuse, or sexual assault.
Therapy offers a supportive space to process these experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll focus on building emotional safety, healthier boundaries, self-trust, and a stronger connection to yourself beyond survival mode.
Anxiety, Overthinking & High-Functioning Burnout
Living with anxiety can feel exhausting. Your mind may constantly replay conversations, anticipate worst-case scenarios, or convince you that you always need to be doing more, fixing more, or preparing for what could go wrong. Even when things appear “fine” externally, your nervous system may feel like it never fully relaxes.
Our work will focus on helping you better understand both the emotional and physical impact of anxiety while building practical tools to feel more grounded, present, and connected to yourself. Therapy isn’t about becoming a completely different person - it’s about helping you feel safer in your own mind and body.
Adhd, Shame, & Feeling Like You’re Falling Behind
For many adults with ADHD, there’s often a hidden layer of shame beneath the overwhelm. You may struggle with focus, emotional regulation, motivation, organization, time management, or feeling frustrated with yourself for not functioning the way you think you “should.” Maybe you’ve spent years masking your struggles, overcompensating, or feeling like you’re constantly falling behind no matter how hard you try.
I work with ADHD clients from a compassionate, nonjudgmental perspective that recognizes you are not lazy, broken, or failing. Together, we’ll focus on understanding how ADHD impacts your emotions, relationships, self-esteem, and daily life while building strategies that work with your brain rather than against it.
My Approach
Our work together will be deeply values-centered. I utilize a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to help you stay grounded in the present moment while also moving toward what matters most to you. This means we’re not just focusing on reducing symptoms, but also on helping you build a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are.
Together, we’ll explore your thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors with curiosity rather than judgment. We’ll look at what’s been working, what hasn’t, and how your experiences have shaped the way you move through the world. From there, we can begin to gently shift patterns that no longer serve you while strengthening the ones that support your well-being.
By integrating these tools with your core beliefs and values, our focus is on creating meaningful, realistic change—change that feels sustainable, not forced. Over time, this work can help you feel more connected to yourself, more resilient in the face of challenges, and more confident in making choices that align with the life you want to live.
Experience
I bring experience supporting adults and emerging adults through grief, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and other life challenges. My work in private practice has centered on providing trauma informed, compassionate care that helps clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing. I also have experience in crisis counseling and advocacy, including supporting survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence, which deepens my ability to sit with clients through painful, complex experiences with care and steadiness. My approach is grounded in evidence based practices, and shaped by a strong belief in each individual’s resilience and capacity for growth.
