Balanced Awakening Collective — Terms of Use & Educational Disclaimer

Introduction

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Balanced Awakening Collective (“the Collective”), offered by Balanced Awakening, P.C. By joining or accessing the Collective, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

The Collective provides educational and wellness-oriented content designed to support personal growth, emotional awareness, and general wellbeing. It is not therapy, treatment, medical care, or individualized professional guidance.

1. Educational Purpose Only

All content within the Collective — including courses, videos, audio recordings, workshops, meditations, written materials, and worksheets — is for informational and educational purposes only.

The Collective does not:

  • provide psychotherapy or counseling

  • diagnose or treat mental health conditions

  • offer medical guidance

  • establish a therapeutic relationship with any Balanced Awakening provider

The material offered may feel supportive or therapeutic in nature, but it is not a substitute for professional mental health care or crisis support.

If you are experiencing emotional distress or need personalized support, please seek care from a licensed mental health professional or medical provider in your area.

If you are in crisis or concerned about your safety, contact your local emergency services, crisis hotline, or nearest emergency room. The Collective is not equipped for crisis response.

2. Membership Access & Eligibility

Membership grants one individual (you) access to the Collective.
Your login may not be shared, transferred, or used by others.

Balanced Awakening may update, revise, or remove content at any time to maintain quality or improve the member experience.

You must be at least 18 years old to join.

3. Payment, Billing, and Cancellation

Monthly Membership

  • Renews automatically each month.

  • You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.

  • Access remains active through your paid billing cycle.

  • All payments are final and nonrefundable.

Annual Membership

  • Renews annually.

  • No partial or prorated refunds.

  • Access remains active through the end of the paid year.

Refund Policy

Because the Collective contains immediately accessible digital content, all purchases are final and nonrefundable for any reason, including non-use.

4. Intellectual Property & Use of Content

All Collective content is the intellectual property of Balanced Awakening, P.C. or its licensed contributors.

You may download worksheets solely for your own personal use.

You may not:

  • reproduce, copy, or distribute Collective content

  • upload or share videos, audio, or worksheets outside your account

  • screen-record or download protected media

  • share login credentials

  • sell or claim Collective material as your own

  • use Collective content for commercial purposes

Unauthorized use may result in removal without refund and may lead to legal action.

5. User Conduct & Member Expectations

Members agree to engage with the Collective respectfully and in good faith.
Harmful, disruptive, or abusive behavior may result in removal without refund.

Members also agree not to:

  • bypass content protections

  • attempt unauthorized access

  • scrape, copy, or replicate the platform or materials

6. No Guarantee of Results

The Collective offers tools intended to support emotional and relational wellbeing, but we cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes, improvements, or changes.

Your personal experience will depend on many factors, including circumstances, history, capacity, and access to external support.

You are responsible for your own use of the practices provided.

7. Technology, Availability, and Modifications

Balanced Awakening may update, adjust, or remove content from the Collective to improve functionality or maintain quality. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance or technical issues.

Balanced Awakening is not responsible for:

  • your internet connection

  • your device performance

  • delays in loading or playback

  • issues caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Squarespace hosting)

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, where Balanced Awakening, P.C. is based.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By joining or accessing the Balanced Awakening Collective, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree, please do not enroll in or access the Collective.
